New Student Orientation
Ancient Winds School of Mystery is designed for certain individuals to learn ancient wisdom and aspects of Tibetan mysticism. The teachings of the School of Mystery predate the creation of Tibet(as a nation), the Dalai Lama, and Buddhism. They can be traced back to 5500 BC. We focus on the exploration of the true self, ego and societal views. The mystery school is about being your true self and shedding the ego. If you are comfortable in who you are and do not want to change that, then this is not for you. If what you seek is to learn, grow and change who you are then this is the place. We'll even give you homework.
Interview with teacher required.
Who is eligible to be involved?
It does not matter what your background is. You must have the following qualities:
- Willing to work with others (very important)
- Willing to make changes and not know where those changes will take you
- Willing to let go of the ego
- Not let your issue get in the way of growing
- Willing to follow instructions and not make excuses
- Letting go of your control
- Willing to listen
- Willing to go beyond having a answer. Here you will not get an answer. The real matter is what is the real question?
- Let go of your position and the attitude that you project
- Let go of your image and opinions
- Willing to learn rather than trying to be number one
- Stop playing the competition game
All of these are things you will learn. We are developing as we go along. So it is not a set thing. There are no answers so you will not be able to use your logic or control here.
Open to things being different. Learn to listen rather than assume.
What does Ancient Winds membership include?
It includes: either two or four classes per month, depending on your schedule, access to our library of previous classes and homework assignments, homework support and study group meetings, discounts on workshops, and discounts on products.
