Tibetan Kung Fu
Sun Dragon Golden Snake system
What we learn
The systems movements are akin to water, fire, earth and air. Each element adds variety to each movement. Movements are derived from five animals; the tiger, the dragon, the eagle, the leopard, and the snake. The use of these animals provide a set of dynamic dualities: flowing/stillness, rhythmic/staccato, fast/slow, gentle/powerful, circular/angular and high/low. You can also read the Sun Dragon Story
Why we learn
Everyone comes to the class for different reasons, but the purpose is to waken and connect with the body, seek clarity of self and learn to strengthen, protect, and secure the human spirit core by developing calm, compassion, and a high level of internal energy for use in healing. The advanced levels of training in the Tibetan Sun Dragon Golden Snake system inspire the student to develop not only physical skills but mental and spiritual skills as well. If you're looking for something different, come to a free class and see what we have to offer. Read what other people have said about the Kung Fu class.
